Oluwayemisi started her career as a legal practitioner. First at ExxonMobil Upstream Procurement Services, then later at Rickey Tarfa&Co, a Private law firm with over 60 lawyers in several states of Nigeria including Lagos, Abuja and Adamawa states of Nigeria.In the Fashion industry, Oluwayemisi’s first learning experience was in Akure, Ondo state, Nigeria where she completed a nine-month Basic Tailoring Program and internship in 1993.
In pursuit of this interest in Fashion and design, she proceeded to ACCRA, Ghana in 2005 for a Diploma in Sewing and Designing at the Vogue style school of Fashion and Design in Accra, Ghana. While at Vogue Style school in Accra, she identified the gap in quality educational services in Africa especially in the industry of Fashion and Design. Determined to influence change and to provide quality education in the industry, she proceeded to the Paris American Academy, Paris, France to obtain a B.A. in Fashion and design.Today, with a doctorate degree in Business administration, she handles the administration of Paris American Academy Nigeria in which she also lectures. Oluwayemisi is blessed with children.
